Job Description:
- The energy efficient cook Stove project officer is responsible to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the EECS Project activities under the supervision of the AP manager.
- He/s is responsible to continue and replicate the best practices achieved so far under the Project on the area of saving and credit, women empowerment, environmental rehabilitation through promotion of stove technologies and energy/fuel consumptions using the technology.
- He/s is responsible to closely work with woreda partners on the energy utilization and maximization of the efforts being with woreda Water, energy and Mines Resource Office .
- He /s is responsible to conduct review meetings, field visits to stove users, promote saving and credit association audits, engagement of partners integrated with AP team to carry out the task timely.
- He/s is responsible to align with NO strategy and Global Our Promise 2030 Strategy through promoting the EECS Project and its contributions on good practices of environment and climate change effects.
- The officer will closely work with AP team on the area of ensuring local area advocacy and accountability through ensuring partnership and sustainability drivers.
- He/s will be assigned to work on other grants/emergency response project and ILaNS related projects as required to ensure project sustainability and integrate with other TPs and activities and also activity targets of other project in the program area.

Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
- Master’s degree with development fields such as Environment and climate change, Geography and Environmental Science, agricultural economics, and related fields Five and above years of work experiences in Environment and related profession
- Expertise in program planning and budgeting with regard to environment and climate change and WVE development program approach is advantage
- License, registration, or certification required to perform this position:
- Local language is preferred
